What happens
Dan Sai's young people wear tall masks carved from coconut-tree bases and rice steamers, painted in wild colors, and dance through town in patchwork costumes with cowbells. It retells a Buddhist story about spirits joining the celebration of the Buddha's return.

Dan Sai is small and rooms go fast. Loei town and Chiang Khan are other bases.
